Phoenix zoo internship7/28/2023 Marie has worked in private practice, wildlife consultation, the Birmingham Zoo and Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine/Southeastern Raptor Center. She completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, followed with a residency at the Wildlife Conservation Society. Marie Rush is a DVM graduate of Auburn University. Kristen is currently an associate veterinarian at the Phoenix Zoo. She recently completed the University of California, Davis, Zoological Medicine Residency. She then completed a rotating small animal internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey, followed by the Zoo and Exotics internship at Kansas State University. Kristen Phair obtained her DVM from the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine. Olivia just completed a three-year residency program in companion exotics and zoo medicine at the University of California-Davis. She then completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship followed by a one-year avian and exotics internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX. Olivia Petritz received her veterinary degree in 2008 from Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine. He then stayed at the Université de Montréal as a master's degree candidate, a part-time research assistant for the Canadian Cooperative Wildlife Health Center, and a part-time clinician for the Aquarium du Québec, the birds of prey clinic and the exotic animal clinic. He completed a residency in wildlife health management at the Université de Montréal under Stéphane Lair's mentorship (Québec, Canada) in 2012. He did an internship with a veterinarian working with exotic, zoo and wild animals (Emmanuel Risi). Sylvain Larrat obtained his degree in veterinary medicine at the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Nantes (France) in 2008. Conor is presently based in the United Arab Emirates where he oversees the veterinary care of falcons and several private zoological collections.ĭr. He completed the UC Davis/ Zoological Society of San Diego residency in zoological medicine in 2010. After several years in mixed practice in Ireland and the United Kingdom, he completed a Masters in Wild Animal Health at the Royal Veterinary College/ Zoological Society of London in 2005. Conor Kilgallon gained his veterinary degree from the National University of Ireland, Dublin. Shannon is currently associate veterinarian at the San Antonio Zoo.ĭr. She completed an internship in Zoological Medicine at Louisiana State University and a residency in Zoological Medicine at the Oklahoma City Zoo. George's University and completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University. Shannon Cerveny graduated from veterinary school in 2007 from St. Paige is currently the Clinical Instructor Veterinarian at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She went on to complete an internship in Zoological Medicine at UT followed by the Zoological Medicine residency at the University of Florida. Paige Brock completed her DVM at the University of Tennessee after which she entered small animal private practice.
